Both matches of the third matchday of Serbian Floorball Championship ended in draws.
In the first match, Stari grad was in the lead twice, both goals scored by Petrovic Marko, but Beograd both times evened the score with shots from their captain Durakovic Dusan. The best player in Beograd team was the goalie, Gilic Zoran, who has stopped opponents forwards from scoring on several occasions. He also had a bit of luck tonight with a couple of shots ending on his posts and crossbar.
Partizan, once more missing a few players remained unbeaten against the League’s leaders, preventing Pirates from earning maximum points in the first round-robin stage. Their captain, Puric Perisa, gave Partizan the lead with an accurate slapshot and Novakovic Nikola leveled it for the Pirates. In the end, Partizan’s goalie, Milutinovic Radomir came into the spotlight and showed that he is not called Rade the Octopus for no reason. On two occasions, when it seemed that scoring was a mere formality for Pirates, Milutinovic saved his net with stunning display of his skill.
The Championship continues on October 26th, and the matches start at 17h in SRC Mala arena BASK, near the horsetrack.
Fourth round pairs are:
Fbk Beograd - Fbc Pirates
Fbk Stari Grad - Fbk Partizan
